of his Swimmers went on to become Champions!! Some receiving Swimming
Scholarships at various Universities!! Johnny would have been extremely proud of
all their accomplishments!!!!
The Galvich Name continued in the
swimming world through John's Children.

After the death of their father and coach, daughter
Nancy and son Peter continued to swim in competition.
Nancy later
continued Johnny's "Learn to Swim" program and "Annual
Water Shows" in both Bloomington, Indiana and Florida. Her shows
included clown diving, nightshirt relay, spoon and egg
race, synchronized swimming and were a copy of her father's water
shows at Riviera...but on a much smaller scale.

Many of Nancy's students went on to

Nancy Classes were offered to students beginning at age 6 months...

Like Father, Like Son. Prior to his death, Johnny had just started Little
Pete on the diving board. I have no doubt that if Johnny had lived, Pete
would most certainly have become an accomplished diver.

At 13 years of age,
son Peter surprised everyone by winning the National Junior Long Distance
Swim Title in his first four-mile attempt. Here he is shown with his
mother "Brownie" holding his long distance trophy.
