John Weinbrecht

John (left) and his Portland Metro Y Coach, Emerson Christolph
12/9/07

John swam in a Winter Tune-Up Meet in Portland last week (12/9) and won the 200m and 50m breaststroke's in the 60-64 age group. He swam the 200m in 3:06, and the 50m in 39.00. It's been a while since he really trained seriously, but has now joined a pretty serious program, with good coaching. As he gets into better shape, and tunes up his starts and turns, he hope to get those times below 2:50 and 37:00. John is swimming the 100m Breast in a meet in mid-January, so we'll see how things are coming along there. John says retirement has really helped his swimming schedule/consistency!

Judy Haver

Both Judy and Tom were Number 1 in their three backstroke events.

Janice & Eddie Kin

3/6/01

Eddie Kin has been married to Janice for 35 years and lives in Tampa, Florida.

He owns an Export Company selling into Central & South America, Pacific Basin countries and South Africa.

The business has given him the opportunity to travel the world extensively over the past 25 years. Now his thirty three year old son Steve does most of the international travel. This has afforded Eddie the time to engage in other ventures, such as the restaurant business, which was recently sold to a chain, and an Internet sales company.

Never far from the water, he has a lap pool in his back yard. It’s not Olympic size but does avail itself for ample exercise. The other water he gets close to is the "water hazard" on the golf course.

Steve as mentioned earlier, works with Eddie in the business. His wife is an attorney for a large law firm in Tampa. Eddie’s other son Blair, lives in Cincinnati, but works in Chicago as a consultant to Pepsi. He is still a bachelor and, given the number of his toys and hobbies, it looks like he will remain that way for a while.

Jim and Judy Willard

It was wonderful to see "Coach Galvich" again!  I started swimming
on the team after the "Rivi" swim classes at 11 years of age and swam for him until I went to Ball State on a swimming scholarship in the Fall of 1959.  It was a sad day when I returned the next year to attend "Coach's" funeral.  He gave a lot to his swim kids and he was one of the most important people in my life.

Thank you for making this memory possible!

My wife Judy and I have a real estate business in Blytheville,
Arkansas and two grown children...Brian (28 Yrs.) and Erica (23 Yrs.).  He is
married and living in Vicksburg, Mississippi, and working for Southern Farm
Bureau. She is doing graduate work at Mississippi State in Animal Reproductive Physiology and not yet married.
