I'm sure 'all' Riviera Swimmers remember Bill Cass and the first day he
showed up to work out with the Team. Coaching this superb
swimmer was a great experience for Johnny Galvich.
Bill was High School All-American at Georgia Military Academy (now
Woodward Academy) in College Park, GA in the late 1950's. He was one of the
most outstanding swimmers they ever had and today, their male, MOST VALUABLE
SWIMMER AWARD is named the 'Bill Cass' Award. Information on Bill can be
found on the 'Wall of Fame' at Woodward Academy.
Bill currently resides in Indianapolis, Indiana. He is
married and the father of 3 children; 2 daughters and 1 son.
